Chitla Collects Three Hits, but Grays Fall to Cropdusters 5-1

The Grays offense wasn't able to get going in this game, with the Grays losing in Olney to the Cropdusters 5-1.
The Cropdusters started this game off hot, scoring a run in the first inning and 2 more in the second inning to go up to a quick lead. They added onto this lead by scoring a run in the sixth inning to go up 4-0.
The Grays offense couldn't get going this game, with them not scoring a run until the eighth inning of this game by Jackson Stallworth (Pensacola State) hitting a double to bring Joey Chitla (William & Mary) home.
The Cropdusters scored another run in the eighth inning to put the final score as a 5-1 loss for the Grays.
While this wasn't an overall great game for the Grays, they still walked away with some individual victories. Joey Chitla (William & Mary) hit 3-4 and was the one to score the lone run for the Grays. Freeman Hunt (Dickinson) looked promising as well, going 2-3 from the plate. Lastly, Jackson Stallworth (Pensacola State) hit 1-2, drove in a RBI and had a walk.
The Grays look to get back in the win column 6/13 at Robert J. Talbot Field at 7PM against the Southern Maryland Senators.
