D.C. Grays
On June 29th the DC Grays finished a game against the Metro South County Braves. The game finished with a score of 12-0 with a Braves victory.
Starting on the mound for the Grays was Mike Niszczak (Dickinson), he threw four innings, striking out four and letting up three runs. He kept the Grays in the game but unfortunately the bats didn't deliver to help him out.
Joey Chitla (William and Mary) had two hits in the game with three stolen bases. The only other hit was Ben Drinkwine (UNCW) with a line drive single to left.
Four grays pitchers took the mound in relief and threw a total of three innings. The game ended in seven innings. Not quite the finish the grays had hoped for but they expect to bounce back in the coming games this week.
